Comfort Homecare, a leading Home Support Provider, is currently seeking dedicated Home Support Workers to join our team across Ireland. We welcome candidates who are willing to relocate to Ireland.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable role
Relevant healthcare qualification within Europe
Good command of the English language
Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
EU citizen

This role requires a minimum Level 5 qualification in QQI/ or level 7 in Social Care or equivalent.
The successful candidate must:
- Good command of the English language
- EU Citizen
- Be fully Reliable/Dependable
- Available for evenings and weekends.
- Full Clean Drivers Licence and Use of vehicle is essential
- Be flexible and have a can-do attitude.
- Have a caring and kind disposition providing a person-centred approach to the client.
-QQI- Level 5 HealthCare Support or Equivalent QQI level 7qualification applicable to the role
- Experience of Personal care including Infection prevention and control.
- Epilepsy Training
- Positive behavioural support training/MAPA
- Good communication skills and practical skills.
- At least 2 years' experience supporting individuals with a disability/Care of the older person in a health or social care setting.
- Specialised training within the disability sector is advantageous.
Responsibilities of the role
- Provide high standards of emotional, social and personal care to clients.
- Adhere to all of Comfort Home Care policies.
- Accurate record-keeping and writing detailed reports
- Continuous training and upskilling applicable to the role
- Implement the client's care plan.
- Provide practical and emotional support to clients in a professional manner
- Travelling to and from Clients houses to provide personal care
- Salary: €31,500

Health or Social Care: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
Certificate in Care Skills or Healthcare Support (required)
Full Clean Driver's License (required)
