An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Radiology Administration Team Lead to join the Bon Secours Hospital in Galway, part of the Bon Secours Health System Ireland’s Largest Private Healthcare provider.
Job Purpose
The role of the Radiology Administration Team Lead is to organise, co-ordinate and manage Radiology admin staff services for the Bon Secours Hospital Galway.
The post holder is responsible for the developing, implementing and managing the daily operations of admin staff for the Radiology department. The post holder will manage daily operational roles related to the department including rostering, financial checks, schedule management and appointment booking. The post holder is responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to improve processes, promote operational efficiency and enhance the patient experience.
They will advise and report to the Radiology Services Manager and provide operational and financial interpretation and recommendations.
The team leader is responsible for leading the Radiology administration team and takes responsibility for all administrative functions within their remit.
This position ensures that services are delivered in accordance with regulatory, quality and financial standards
Ideal Candidate

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, people management, accountability and communication skills.

Excellent computer literacy skills with extensive experience in using computer systems and applications.

Experience in the use of electronic medical record (EMR), health- link and radiology information systems (RIS).

Proven track record in effective management.
Essential Qualifications

Certificate in Business or equivalent.

ECDL or related qualification
Experience

3 to 5 years Radiology experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experiences
