Role: Basic or Advanced Scaffolders
Location: Tipperary
BSS are currently looking for Basic or Advanced Scaffolders in Tipperary for an upcoming project.
Your responsibilities:
As an Advanced Scaffolder your responsibilities will include
- Design and construct complex scaffolding structures, including independent scaffolds, birdcage scaffolds, and suspended scaffolds.
- Lead and supervise a team of scaffolders, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard.
- Interpret blueprints and design plans to determine the most suitable scaffolding structure.
- Conduct thorough inspections and risk assessments to ensure scaffold stability and safety.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
As a Basic Scaffolder your responsibilities will include
- Erect, alter, and dismantle basic scaffolding structures under the supervision of a senior scaffolder.
- Assist in loading and unloading scaffolding materials.
- Ensure that scaffolding is erected safely and securely following company and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass & Manual Handling certificate
- Valid CSCS ticket
- Proven experience as a scaffolder in the construction industry.
