Head of Security – Experienced Venue Security Manager Required
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Head of Security to lead and manage the security operation at a busy late-night venue in Phibsborough, Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated security professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing door security teams in a licensed hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and manage a medium-sized team of door supervisors.
- Ensure the safety and security of customers, staff, and premises at all times.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Oversee staff deployment, performance, and training.
- Manage incident reporting and ensure compliance with venue policies and licensing requirements.
- Liaise with venue management, emergency services, and local authorities when required.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement security procedures.
- Handle challenging situations calmly and effectively while maintaining a safe environment.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior security management role within the late-night hospitality sector.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing door security teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-management skills.
- Experience dealing with high-volume venues and busy nightlife environments.
- Excellent organisational and reporting abilities.
- Valid PSA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
- Flexible availability to work late nights and weekends.
