Are you an experienced Plant Manager ready to take full ownership of site performance in a fast-paced, international manufacturing environment?
ProAmpac Donegal is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our site operations, driving performance across safety, quality, production, and financial outcomes. The Role will have responsibility for both or Flex and Fiber sites in Gweedore, Donegal.
This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for the manufacturing site. You will lead all operational functions, drive a high-performance culture, and ensure the delivery of strategic and operational objectives while continuously improving efficiency, performance, and employee engagement.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading overall site operations, including Safety, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Logistics, and Financial performance
- Delivering strong KPI performance across safety, quality, service, cost, and people
- Managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring delivery against financial targets
- Driving a Lean manufacturing culture, championing continuous improvement, waste reduction, and operational excellence
- Leading S&OP alignment across demand planning, capacity planning, inventory optimisation, and new product introduction
- Implementing improvements to manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, ROI, and overall plant performance
- Building and leading a high-performance, engaged team culture with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Collaborating cross-functionally with HR, Sales, Product Development, and other sites to optimise business performance
- Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of operational priorities
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leader within a fast-paced production environment
- Strong track record in delivering operational performance, cost control, and continuous improvement
- Experience leading S&OP processes and driving cross-functional alignment
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability
- Solid understanding of plant safety standards and manufacturing best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Degree in Business, Engineering or Operations Management (MBA desirable)
