Griffeen Valley Nursing Home (Lucan, Co Dublin) is seeking a Healthcare Assistant with excellent communication skills. Candidates must have a minimum of QQIL5 qualification in healthcare, similar or higher or have the major award completed within 2 years of taking up the position. A minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital setting/residential setting is also required. This is a full time position (39 hours per week) with an annual remuneration of €32,691. Candidates must be able to work various shifts on variable days each week. Night shift will also be required. Certification in Patient Moving and Handling, CPR, and IPC also required. The position requires you to provide care and support to elderly residents, prepare meals/snacks and be familiar with IDDSI, report to Nurse on duty, liaise with family members, when necessary and assist with all duties required and as directed by Nurse on duty.
