Job Title: Full-Time Social Care Worker

Coral Care Services is currently recruiting a full-time Social Care Worker for a new aftercare residential service in Carrickmacross. This role involves supporting young people as they transition into independent living, helping them build confidence, life skills, and stability in a safe and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will work directly with young people in the service, supporting them with daily routines, education, training, employment, and social activities. You will be responsible for following care plans, maintaining a structured and safe environment, and building positive, professional relationships with the young people in your care. You will also be required to keep clear and accurate records, report any concerns, and work closely with families, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young person’s care.
This role requires someone who is reliable, patient, and able to use their own initiative while also working as part of a team. You must have a genuine interest in supporting young people and promoting independence.
A recognised qualification in Social Care or a related field is required. Experience working with young people, particularly in residential or aftercare settings, is an advantage. Strong communication skills and good judgement are essential. A full driving licence and access to a car is required.
This is a full-time position and will include evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts depending on the needs of the service.
