Position Overview
We are excited to offer a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Procurement & Stores Lead to join our team and contribute to the future success of Killashee Hotel.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and compare prices.

Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and product availability.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with departments to replenish supplies.

Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.

Coordinate with the stores teams to ensure accurate receipt of goods.

Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and filing systems.

Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve delivery issues.

Support inventory counts and stock audits when required.

Ensure procurement activities comply with hotel policies and financial controls.

Help identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Work closely with Finance to reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain confidentiality of supplier pricing and procurement information.

Maintain cleanliness and order in the yard and bin area at all times
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, administration, or hotel operations is an advantage.

Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Good negotiation and supplier relationship skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience with procurement, inventory, or hotel management systems (such as Opera, procure wizard) is an advantage.
