To undertake the duties and responsibilities as a solar electrician, to the standards set out in the contract on residential dwellings and commercial buildings were required. To report to the Electrical QS on a quality solar installation. To comply with all company policies and procedures, and complete installs to all relevant electrical standards.
Duties:
- Install solar PV electrical equipment according to project specifications
- Perform electrical assembly and testing of solar systems and electrical components.
- Test and troubleshoot solar panel and electrical systems to ensure proper functionality
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations during installation process
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on our in-house CRM system
- Other tasks and duties as required in support of the business
Requirements:-
- Fully qualified electrician (National Craft Certificate or equivalent) - Essential
- REC (Safe Electric) registration preferred (Candidates not currently REC registered will be supported to achieve this)
- Strong experience in electrical testing, inspection, and certification- Essential
- Experience in solar PV systems -Desirable
- Solar PV land EV Charger courses- Highly Desirable
- Experience in Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems -Highly Desirable
- Full clean Driving Licence essential- Essential
- Safe Pass - Essential
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Essential
- Product specific training will be provided
