Dublin Pizza Company is looking for a passionate and dedicated Head Chef for our location in the city centre! Neopolitan-style wood-fire pizza experience and a love of your craft is essential.

Alongside our restaurant operation, we also produce premium cook-at-home pizzas for the retail market, making this a unique opportunity to work across both hospitality and food innovation.
Bearing this in mind, there are a number of different fermantation techniques employed within the business and a broad understanding of bakery and fermentation is essential.
Who You Are:
- Master of your Craft: Highly experienced with wood fire cookery. Passionate about dough, fermentation, and the craft of great pizza.
- System-Orientated: You understand the attention to detail and organisation required for the 72 hour fermentation process.
- Natural Leader: Calm, professional, and people-focused leader who fosters an inclusive kitchen culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations to include rostering, inventory and budget control.
- Maintain exceptional quality and consistency across all products.
- Oversee dough production, fermentation, and pizza preparation.
- Drive new product development for both restaurant and retail offerings.
- Source and work with artisanal ingredients of the highest standard, securing the best deals from our suppliers.
- Train, mentor, and develop the kitchen team.
- Foster a calm, inclusive, respectful, and high-performing kitchen culture.
- Ensure rigorous HACCP and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Collaborate closely with the founder and senior management on operational improvements and future growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef (3 years minimum).
- Strong knowledge of dough, fermentation, and all pizza techniques.
- Passion for artisanal food and premium ingredients.
- Experience in product development is highly desirable!
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive team culture in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and operational skills.
- High standards, attention to detail, and pride in consistency.
- Eligible to work full-time in Ireland with unrestricted work permissions.
- HACCP level 3 preferred (training can be provided).
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Workspace preferred.

Pay: €45,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
