Kitchen Academics is an Irish brand of innovative kitchen accessories and problem-solving kitchen products. We attend various trade shows and events throughout the year and are looking for an outgoing, friendly and chatty person to join our team.
Ploughing Championships – Tullamore Area (and Dublin area going forward)
We are looking for someone to work with us for 3 days at the Ploughing Championships:
Dates: 15th, 16th & 17th September
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm or 10am-4pm
Rate: €15 per hour
Indoor stand
What you'll be doing
- Striking up conversations with people passing the stand
- Getting customers interested in our products
- Demonstrating and explaining the benefits of our kitchen accessories
- Helping customers choose the products that suit them
- Taking sales and dealing with customers in a friendly and approachable way
- Working as part of a team with one other person
Who we're looking for
This role would suit someone who is outgoing, confident and enjoys chatting to people.
You don't need to have loads of sales experience – the main thing is being comfortable approaching people and having a good conversation with customers.
Previous sales or customer-facing experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
Ongoing Work – Dublin
This is particularly ideal for someone who is also available to work in the Dublin area.
Kitchen Academics has a number of events and trade shows throughout the year, and there will be casual and occasional work opportunities in Dublin going forward.
So, while the Ploughing Championships is a 3-day job, there is potential for more event and sales work throughout the year for the right person.
Training Provided
You will receive training on the morning of the event from our permanent staff. We'll take you through the products, their key benefits and how we approach customers, so you'll have everything you need to get started.
You'll also be working alongside another member of the team throughout the event.
