We are looking for people to join a beverage (mainly soft drink products) and snacks (mostly crips) for a famous company based in Cork.
Role Information
· Working times: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 2.30pm (10 to 15 hours per week in 2 hour sessions once or twice per day)
· Pay rate 20 EURO per hour, paid monthly via payroll system
· Fully Paid Training provided in June and July 2026
· Once training is completed and your sensory skills are approved, from August 2026 you could potentially earn up to around 1,000 EURO per month.

Job Description
You will learn how to objectively assess the properties of carbonated soft drink products and snacks and become part of a trained Expert Sensory Panel.
As a trained, expert panellist you will be expected to:
· Work collaboratively as part of a team: exchange, listen, reach an agreement on sensory properties
· Evaluate products with objectivity and identify the differences between them, using software on a PC
· Respect and apply test protocols and instructions given by the panel leader
· Respect project confidentiality
· Take part in further training to expand the range of products that you can evaluate
Candidate Requirements:
· At least 18 years old and from the Cork region
· No food allergies or intolerances (ingredients will include sugar, sweeteners and caffeine)
· Would enjoy experiencing and describing aroma and taste sensations
· Interested in a long-term role – please do not apply if you are a student or looking for short-term work e.g. a summer job
· Interpersonal team skills
· Non-smoker
· Not pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the very near future (for health and safety reasons)
Next Steps
You will need to take part in a 90 minute screening session to make sure you have the required sensory acuity to join the panel. You will be paid for attending this session and will need to be available to take part on either Tuesday 9th June or Wednesday 10th June or Thursday 11th June.
If successful, you will then need to attend a 20 minute onsite interview on Wednesday 17th June or Thursday 18th June for which you will also be paid.
If you are then accepted onto the panel, your training will take place on the following 16 days:
Mon 22nd June: 1.5 hours
Tuesday 23rd June to Mon 13th July every working day for 1 hour per day
If you pass this stage of training, you will be invited to be a part-time panellist.
