Your Role
As an Agency Healthcare Assistant, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to clients
- Assist with daily living activities (personal care, mobility, nutrition)
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing
- Support clinical teams where required
- Maintain accurate records and communication
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in a healthcare or homecare setting
- Patient Manual Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain)
- Right to work in Ireland
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, reliable, and professional attitude
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in homecare, nursing homes, or hospital settings
- Full driver’s licence and access to transport
