The ideal candidate will provide an efficient, strategic and dedicated focus on the procurement service with structured flexibility to deliver best quality service and optimum value for money for the Uniphar Medtech supply chain function. This role is based in our Northern Cross office, Finglas Dublin 11. The candidate will be working in a team environment in conjunction with the Operations Team, Customer Service Team, Customers, Vendors and Sales Teams. They will demonstrate excellent external and internal customer focus throughout.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Support procurement activities to ensure cost-effective purchasing and high service levels.
Analyse market trends, inventory data, and demand forecasts to maintain optimal stock levels.
Monitor inventory availability, identify potential supply risks, and escalate issues proactively.
Manage stock holdings, including slow-moving inventory and product expiry dates.
Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders for inventory and non-inventory items.
Negotiate pricing with suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain accurate supplier and product master data within company systems.
Produce regular reports and analysis to support inventory, procurement, and operational performance.
Review stock forecasts and replenishment requirements in line with business needs.
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding recalls, product complaints, and vendor communications.
Requirements
2–3 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory planning, or a related role.
Experience in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management; healthcare industry experience is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Experience using ERP, MRP, or Warehouse Management Systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated, organised, and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Relevant third-level qualification is desirable but not essential.
