Accounts Payable & Health & Safety Administrator
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments while supporting the day-to-day administration of our Health & Safety function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to broaden their skills, as full Health & Safety training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Receive, review, and process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and allocation to the appropriate cost centres.
- Reconcile Supplier Statements.
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs, including scheduled and ad hoc payments.
- Monitor payment schedules to maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Process monthly employee expense and company credit card claims in line with company policies.
- Receive and verify subcontractor certificates.
- Provide general finance administration support, maintaining accurate records and assisting with process improvements.
Health & Safety Administration
- Support the Service Manager with the organisation of Health & Safety training sessions.
- Assist with onboarding documentation for both employees and customer portals.
- Schedule training sessions and maintain accurate employee training records.
- Ensure Health & Safety documentation is current, organised, and compliant.
- Assist with incident reporting, recording, investigation administration, and communication of lessons learned.
- Provide general administrative support for Health & Safety compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Desirable
- Previous experience in an administrative Health & Safety role is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: €33,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
