We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our pharmacy team. This is a front-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public and has an interest in healthcare and retail. Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Providing friendly, professional customer service at the medicines counter
Advising customers on over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products in line with pharmacy guidelines
Referring customers to the pharmacist when appropriate
Operating the till and handling cash and card payments accurately
Maintaining stock levels, merchandising, and pricing of OTC products
Supporting the pharmacy team during busy periods
Ensuring the pharmacy and shop area are kept clean, tidy, and well organised
Complying with all legal, ethical, and company procedures
About You:
Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or retail environment is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, professional, and approachable manner
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and complete relevant training (e.g. medicines counter assistant training)
Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
