Ad Hoc Retail Merchandiser – Cork City & County
Teddy-Mac Retail Services is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Ad Hoc Retail Merchandiser to join our growing field team across Cork City and County.
This is a flexible, ad hoc position supporting a variety of retail merchandising and client campaigns. It would suit someone who enjoys working independently, visiting different retail stores and taking pride in completing work to a high standard.
Pay: €15.50 per hour
Location: Cork City & County
Start Date: 24 August 2026
Hours: Ad hoc/flexible – hours will vary depending on client campaigns and store requirements.
What You'll Do
As part of our field merchandising team, your work may include:
- Visiting assigned retail stores across Cork City and County
- Completing merchandising and point-of-sale (POS) campaigns
- Installing and maintaining promotional and POS materials
- Checking displays and ensuring work is completed to the required standard
- Taking clear photographs of completed work
- Completing and submitting simple field reports
- Liaising professionally with store personnel where required
- Representing Teddy-Mac Retail Services and our clients to a high standard
What You'll Need
To be considered for the role, you should have:
- Your own vehicle and a full driving licence
- A smartphone with the ability to take and upload photographs
- Good attention to detail
- A reliable and professional approach
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work independently and follow a client brief
- Flexibility to travel to different retail locations across Cork City and County
Previous retail merchandising experience is an advantage, but it is not essential.
New to Merchandising? No Problem.
We are happy to hear from candidates who haven't worked in merchandising before.
Successful candidates will receive:
- Full in-person merchandising training
- Health & Safety training before commencing work
