About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our steel engineering workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of fabricators and welders ensuring targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day workshop activities
- Lead, motivate and manage a team
- Ensure all work is completed in line with drawings and specifications
- Monitor productivity and implement improvements where necessary
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations
- Liaise with management and cad technicians
Requirements
- Proven experience in engineering or fabrication environment
- Planning and organising skills
- Fluent English
- Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Work well as part of a team
