Duggan Shopfitters is a commercial fit-out and joinery contractor with 35+ years in business delivering retail, hospitality and hotel projects across Ireland. Everything starts in our own Wexford workshop. As a turnkey Shopfitters we design, manufacture and install everything with our own people.
We're hiring a qualified tradesman to run installations as a site lead. This is a genuine lead role, you own the site from first fix to snag-free handover, with a structured team site behind you & an office team to support you.
The role
– Running fit-out installations on live commercial sites — bars, hotel bedrooms, reception areas, meeting rooms from setting-out through to handover
– A short daily check-in with the Operations Manager, progress, materials, & anything blocking you gets dealt with same day, not next week
– Setting-out and technical queries resolved directly with our Workshop Manager/Design team.
– Leading your team on site — sequencing the work, quality control, managingvariations, keeping the site presentable and orderly.
– Owning the job kit, every job goes out with a signed kit sheet, and you're the named lead responsible for materials, tools and de-kit at completion.
– Coordinating deliveries with the office team so the right materials land when you need
– Working alongside our existing site leads & on design-led projects, our interiors design team
You
– Experienced carpenter/joiner (or equivalent fit-out trade)
– 5+ years' site experience in fit-out, shopfitting or finish carpentry; previous lead or foreman experience an advantage
– Comfortable being the point of contact on site for the crew, for deliveries, and for the client's walking the floor
– Reads drawings confidently and flags problems early, before they're built in.
– Safe Pass and Manual Handling an advantage, training will be provided.
– Full driving licence; vans provided, accommodation provided & travel required.
