- Job Title: 1x Tyre Fitter/Welder
BG Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of Tyre Tech Services a reliable and skilled Tyre Fitter/Welder to join their tyre fitting workshop. The successful candidate will carry out welding and fabrication work on commercial vehicle wheels, tyre-fitting equipment, workshop machinery, trailers, and other metal components while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform welding repairs on steel components, brackets, frames, and workshop equipment.
* Fabricate and modify metal parts as required.
* Inspect damaged components and determine appropriate repair methods.
* Use MIG, TIG, or Arc welding equipment safely and effectively.
* Assist with maintenance and repair of tyre-fitting machinery and tools.
* Operate grinders, cutting equipment, drills, and other workshop tools.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
* Support tyre fitting and workshop operations when required.
* Report equipment faults and material requirements to management.
· Requirements: A minimum of 2 years relevant experience and valid certificates of qualification
