Brosnans Property Solutions Ltd. is currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter / Roofer to join our growing facilities management team.
We provide reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment services across residential, commercial, and social housing sectors throughout Munster.
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role suited to a qualified and experienced Carpenter / Roofer with a strong background in property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out roofing repairs and general roof maintenance works
- Complete chimney repairs, leadwork, flashing repairs, and installations
- Replace tiles, slates, ridges, and associated roof components
- Carry out 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry works
- Assist with refurbishment works, including stud framing, drylining/slabbing, and general joinery
- Identify maintenance issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard
- Follow all health and safety requirements on site
- Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, suppliers, and property managers
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in carpentry and/or roofing
- Valid Safe Pass
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate
- Full, clean driving licence
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- MEWP certification
- Own tools
- Good spoken English
