Job Title: Medical Secretary – Woodview Family Practice
Location: Sallybrook, Glanmire, Co. Cork
Terms: 4-Day Week (32 hours) | 08:30 – 17:30 daily
About the Role
Due to continued growth, Woodview Family Practice is looking for an energetic and professional Medical Secretary to join our busy team. The successful candidate will work alongside our existing team of six secretaries to provide high-level administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Requirements
- Communication: Excellent spoken and written English skills are essential.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a busy reception or administrative role (healthcare experience is an advantage but not essential).
- Skills: High level of computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Aptitude: Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive, patient-focused attitude. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a high-energy team
Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Managing patient queries via telephone and face-to-face.
- Efficient scheduling of patient appointments.
- General administration, including scanning documentation and Dictaphone typing.
- Providing administrative support to the clinical team.
- Daily cash reconciliation and financial record-keeping.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all GDPR requirements
