Barberstown Castle Hotel in Straffan, Co. Kildare are currently recruiting for full time and part time experienced Barpersons at our historic 4 star hotel.
The ideal candidates will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the bar, providing exceptional service to our guests. We seek an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking individual committed to quality and high standards of service.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide a warm welcome to all guests.
- Take and deliver orders efficiently and promptly.
- Offer menu recommendations and upsell additional products when appropriate.
- Prepare and set up the bar area before and after service.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Participate in training and development activities to improve standards and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a busy bar environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Competence in cocktails, wine and whiskey knowledge are essential.

Expected hours: 6.0 – 24.0 per week
