We are currently recruiting Sales Manager - Corporate / MICE for leading 4* Hotel in Galway
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing all Sales in Corporate /MICE markets for the Hotel. They are responsible for planning and executing sales product development programs that will meet pre-determined targets and increase our market share.
The Sales Manager is key in identifying key markets, staying in tune of emerging trends, and collaborating with Regional / National sales teams. Their duties include identifying new sales opportunities, meeting sales targets and strategically developing this key market for the Hotel.
- Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities
- Initialize and implement annual sales plans for the Hotel in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Group Colleagues
- Work with the Sales Director to put in place clear business plans for Key Account development and a clear sales strategy to cover key contracts.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
- Identifies and targets new business opportunities to achieve revenue goals.
- Plan time effectively to meet call mix targets with both cold calling/prospecting and current clients
- A proven track record in Sales Management Corporate/ MICE in a prominent 4/5* Hotel
- Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans
- Thorough understanding of the importance of customer experience and uncompromising standards of excellence
- Strong organisational, strategic planning, negotiation and presentation skills
- Great communication skills – ability to clearly communicate with suppliers, management and staff across a variety of nationalities and experience levels
- Energetic, friendly, approachable, professional, courteous and well groomed
- Understands the overall market including National Conference market- competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, Event Calendars and knows how to sell against them.
- Applicants require current legal status to live and work in Ireland without restrictions
- Applicants require own transport and Full Driving Licence
