We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join a well-regarded hospitality venue in the heart of Dublin City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy venue.
About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager and wider management team to oversee daily operations, support staff, maintain high service standards, and ensure every guest has a positive experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and previous experience in a busy hospitality, restaurant, bar, or hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager with the daily running of the venue.
- Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team during service.
- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
- Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Assist with staff training, supervision, and performance management.
- Help manage staff rotas, breaks, and shift planning.
- Monitor service standards and ensure the venue is clean, organised, and well-presented.
- Support stock control, ordering, and waste management where required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and licensing regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient service.
- Support sales, upselling, and overall business performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Duty Manager, or similar role.
- Experience in a busy hospitality, restaurant, bar, hotel, or venue environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of health and safety, food safety, and licensing standards.
- A positive, hands-on attitude and passion for hospitality.

Pay: €20.00-€22.00 per hour
