About the Role
Kilmurry Lodge Hotel is looking for a reliable, energetic, and physically fit Food & Beverage Runner to join our Food and Beverage team. This is a fast-paced, on-your-feet role that requires stamina, strength, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
You will be responsible for running food from our kitchen pass directly to guests — quickly, accurately, and with a smile. If you thrive in a busy environment, take pride in your work, and can handle the physical demands of a working kitchen and restaurant floor, we want to hear from you.
⚠ Please Note: This is a full-time position covering days, evenings, and weekends on a rotating roster. It may not be suitable for those with inflexible availability, including students.
Key Responsibilities
● Collect prepared food from the kitchen pass and deliver it promptly and accurately to the correct tables or rooms
● Verify orders before leaving the kitchen to ensure accuracy every time
● Carry and transport food trays safely, including full trays of dishes across a busy floor
● Coordinate closely with kitchen staff and servers to maintain a smooth, efficient service flow
● Assist with table set-up including laying of cutlery, plates, and condiments
● Clear and reset tables efficiently as guests finish their meals
● Address any guest food queries promptly and professionally
● Uphold all hygiene, food safety, and presentation standards
What We're Looking For
● Physical fitness and stamina — this is an active, on-your-feet role throughout the full shift
● Ability to safely carry and manoeuvre heavy trays of food in a busy environment
● High attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
● Strong customer service instincts with a warm, professional manner
● A team player who communicates well with kitchen and floor staff
● Reliable, punctual, and well-presented at all times
● Comfortable working a rotating roster including evenings and weekends
● Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential — full training provided

Pay: €14.15-€15.00 per hour
