Job Opportunity: Instructor/Yard Assistant
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Instructor/Yard Assistant to join our team at our riding school, livery yard, and transport yard, located in the stunning countryside just 10 minutes from Killarney town, South West Ireland.
About the Role:
This is a varied and rewarding position that involves:
- Teaching group and private lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities, including therapeutic riding sessions for individuals with additional needs.
- Yard management and care, including feeding, mucking out, skipping out, grooming, and maintaining horses to a high standard.
- Exercising and schooling horses as needed.
- Assisting with seasonal camps, including planning and organisation.
- Supporting our sister company – PT International Horse Transport, Duties include handling and preparing horses for transport, assisting with loadind horses.
About You:
- Fun, confident, and self-motivated.
- Passionate about working with horses and children.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience with horses is required.
