Description
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Waiter/Barista to join our team. As a team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while delivering delicious coffee and refreshments. The ideal candidate has a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages
- Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including wiping down tables and counters, and restocking supplies
- Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and allergen information
- Operate and maintain coffee machinery and equipment
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and preparing the cafe for the next shift
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and a passion for coffee
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Availability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
