The Role
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service, guest satisfaction, and team performance. Working closely with the senior management team and Head Chef, the successful candidate will lead and inspire a dedicated front-of-house team while maintaining the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the fine dining restaurant.
- Lead, train, and develop the front-of-house team.
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently achieved.
- Manage reservations, staffing levels, and service delivery.
- Maintain strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
- Assist with wine service and support the ongoing development of the wine programme.
- Monitor stock control, ordering, and cost management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations.
- Drive revenue opportunities while maintaining outstanding guest satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Senior Assistant Manager within a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong wine knowledge and confidence in wine service; WSET qualification would be advantageous.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
- Strong attention to detail and professional presentation.
