General Operative – Production, Packing & Assembly

Nyrah Beauty is a fast-growing Irish beauty brand creating high-quality, science-backed skincare and self-care products.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for General Operatives to join our team in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. These are practical, hands-on roles supporting the production, assembly, packing and preparation of our products.
Role Overview
As a General Operative, you will work as part of our production and operations team to ensure products are assembled, packed and prepared accurately and efficiently.
The work will include packing products, assembling product sets, applying labels, preparing packaging and supporting other general production and warehouse activities.
Full training will be provided. Previous production or packing experience is helpful but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and assemble skincare products and product sets.
- Prepare bottles, jars, cartons and other packaging for production.
- Apply labels and check that products are correctly presented.
- Carry out basic product filling, packing or production activities as trained.
- Check products and packaging for visible defects or damage.
- Ensure the correct products, quantities and packaging are used.
- Complete basic production and packing records accurately.
- Prepare finished products for storage, dispatch or customer orders.
- Receive, move and organise packaging materials and finished stock.
- Maintain clean, tidy and hygienic production and packing areas.
- Clean equipment and work areas in accordance with company procedures.
- Follow safety, hygiene, quality and operating procedures at all times.
- Report quality concerns, damaged materials or stock differences promptly.
- Support other general production, warehouse and operational duties as required.

- Are adaptable and willing to help with different operational tasks when required.
- Take pride in producing consistently high-quality work.
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, packing, assembly, warehousing or fulfilment would be beneficial, but it is not required. Full training will be provided to suitable candidates.
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on position. Applicants should be comfortable:
- Standing for extended periods.
- Carrying out repeated packing and assembly activities.
- Moving cartons, packaging and materials.
- Lifting and handling items safely within reasonable workplace limits.
What We Offer
- Wages starting at €14.15 per hour.
- Full-time, weekday work.
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location
This role is fully based at our premises in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
It is an on-site position and cannot be carried out remotely. Please apply only if you can reliably travel to and work from Castlebar.
