Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Leisure Centre Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout a busy leisure centre. The successful candidate will ensure all public areas, changing rooms, gym spaces, studios, and toilets are clean, safe, and welcoming for our members & guests.
· Key Responsibilities
· Clean and sanitize all areas of the leisure centre including:
· Changing rooms
· Showers and toilets
· Gym and fitness areas
· Reception and public areas
· Studios
· Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
· Replenish cleaning supplies, soap, paper towels, and toiletries.
· Mop, vacuum, sweep, and polish floors and surfaces.
· Carry out regular deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled.
· Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment to management.
· Follow health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
· Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely.
· Assist in maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff.
· Work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required. This role will also include some night shifts also.
