We are currently seeking both an Experienced Electronic Security & Fire Alarm Engineer and an Apprentice Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who have an interest in electronics, electrical systems, security technology, and problem-solving. Full training will be provided for the apprentice position, while experienced candidates should have relevant industry knowledge and practical experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of electronic security systems and fire alarm systems
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting system issues
- Programming and commissioning alarm systems
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals and schematics
- Using testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations
- Providing excellent customer service while working on-site
Requirements
- Electronics or electrical experience preferred
- Strong interest in learning security and fire alarm systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Competent IT skills
- Well organised with attention to detail
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Comfortable working at heights
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying equipment
- Fluent English
Essential
- Full clean Irish driving licence
- Valid authorisation to work in Ireland
Preferred Location
Candidates should ideally be based in Cork City, North Cork, or surrounding areas.
