CNC Plasma Operator
Mack Engineering is seeking an experienced CNC Plasma Operator to join our production team in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
This role would suit someone who is organised, dependable and takes pride in operating and maintaining machinery properly. Previous CNC plasma cutting experience is essential.
Main responsibilities:
- Operating a CNC plasma cutting machine safely and efficiently
- Reading drawings, cutting lists and production schedules
- Loading plates and managing cut parts and material offcuts
- Checking cut quality, dimensions and quantities
- Completing daily machine checks, cleaning and basic maintenance
- Monitoring consumables and reporting issues promptly
- Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
- Coordinating with production management to meet programme requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- Previous experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A reliable and responsible approach to work
- The ability to work independently and manage daily priorities
- A strong awareness of quality and workplace safety
- Experience using overhead cranes or forklifts would be an advantage
This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay based on experience.
