Role Description:
We are currently seeking a Mobile Maintenance Plumber to join our team on a full-time basis, based in the Midlands Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across plumbing and mechanical building services. The role involves maintaining plumbing, water systems, pumps, ventilation and associated equipment across healthcare, nursing, educational and commercial environments, while ensuring compliance with health, safety and Legionella requirements.
Key Accountabilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.

Respond to reactive maintenance requests and emergency callouts.

Diagnose and repair faults on water services, drainage, sanitary ware, and pipework systems.

Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, taps, showers, pumps, and water heaters.

Maintain hot and cold water distribution systems.

Carry out leak detection and repair works.

Complete minor mechanical maintenance tasks as required.

Carry out routine servicing, inspection, and maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHUs).

Service and maintain Heat Recovery Units (HRUs) and associated ventilation systems.

Perform fault finding and minor repairs on HVAC plant and controls.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work reports.

Liaise with site managers, contractors, and clients regarding maintenance activities.

Support compliance inspections and audits.

Ensure all works are completed with minimal disruption to building occupants and operations.

Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and control procedures.

Maintain domestic water systems in line with Legionella prevention requirements.

Assist with energy conservation and water efficiency initiatives.

Monitor and maintain booster pumps, circulating pumps, expansion vessels, and associated equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on mechanical building services equipment.
- Assist with commissioning and testing of mechanical systems following repairs or upgrades.
- Liaise with specialist contractors for complex repairs and statutory inspections.
Critical Competencies:

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
A recognised Plumbing Qualification/Certificate is required.
An RGI Qualification is desirable.
A full, clean Irish driving licence is essential.
