Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Job Purpose: Support the Accounts and Sales function
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
- Receive sales orders via phone, e-mail or EDI & process in order of priority, ensure all relevant information added
- Cross check pricing against purchase order & liaise with sales manager where discrepancies arise
- Forward the processed sales order to relevant despatch area
- Raise Purchase Orders for transport of all customer orders
- Agree transport rates for non-standard / groupage loads
- Daily troubleshooting any delivery issues that arise
- Book in orders where it is a customer requirement
- Deal with external queries and liaise with various internal departments in relation to queries on accounts
- Ad-hoc data entry and reporting
- Attend meetings with relevant departments
- Train new staff members
- Close off Debtors by way of Month End procedures
- Assist with sales invoice processing
- Cover Credit Control when required
- Cover reception when required

Skills / Qualifications/ Experience:
- Previous experience in FMCG office environment
- Previous experience in a similar role an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Excellent timekeeping, with the ability to work as part of a team and own initiative
- Strong IT Skills with a good knowledge of MS office packages - specifically Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
- Highly motivated with an ability to take ownership and multi-task
- Ability to pro-actively communicate with third parties
- Is flexible and adaptable
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be considered, based on relevant experience, training, or voluntary work

Pay: €33,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
