Job Description – Apprentice Mechanic
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Mechanic to join our workshop team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the motor industry. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will receive hands-on training while learning how to inspect, service and repair a wide range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Carry out routine inspections and basic mechanical tasks under supervision.
- Learn to diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
- Follow manufacturer and dealership repair procedures.
- Complete training and apprenticeship requirements.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Support the workshop team with general duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- A genuine interest in vehicle mechanics and the automotive industry.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good problem-solving and practical skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Full driving licence or learner permit is an advantage.
