We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Receptionist who has a genuine interest in developing their skills within an accounts environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people while also looking to build experience in finance and administration. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while supporting our finance team with a range of accounting and administrative duties.
Key ResponsibilitiesReception & Office Administration
- Welcome visitors and provide a professional first impression of QPM.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Monitor shared email inboxes and distribute correspondence appropriately.
- Maintain meeting rooms and reception areas.
- Order office supplies and assist with general office administration.
- Support the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Accounts Support
- Assist with processing supplier invoices.
- Support the preparation of payment runs.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Assist with customer account queries.
- Process receipts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Update accounting systems with relevant information.
- Assist with filing and maintaining finance documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Team during month-end activities.
- Carry out other finance-related duties as experience develops.

Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administration or customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable:
- An interest in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar).
- Accounts administration or finance support experience.
- Business or accounting qualification (or currently studying) would be an advantage.
Pay: €27,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
