We are hiring a Senior Radiographer in our hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Excellent knowledge of departmental exam protocols and their appropriate application based on clinical indications or the requesting surgeon.
- Demonstrated high level of clinical knowledge to perform role responsibilities effectively, while keeping abreast of technological developments and their potential impact.
- Proven experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams at both clinical and administrative levels.
- Awareness of Joint Commission International (JCI) requirements, with the ability to apply and maintain compliance consistently throughout the year.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve equipment issues locally before escalating to CSR or Medical Physics.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality, patient-centered service, with the ability to empathize with and treat patients, relatives, and colleagues with dignity and respect.
- Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Capacity to apply professional knowledge to ensure best practice in all clinical and operational activities.
- Dedication to maintaining high standards and continuously improving service quality.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, with a willingness to undertake additional duties as required.
- Demonstrated awareness and appreciation of service users, promoting respect, empathy, and dignity in all interactions.
- GCC experience candidates required
Requirements
- BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography.
- Qualification must be recognised
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Radiography.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a team of radiographers.
- Proven ability to manage both clinical and non-clinical situations effectively.
- Strong capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- High level of responsibility, accountability, and individual initiative.
- GCC experience required
