We are looking for a reliable delivery driver to join our team at Cloháne Wood Products.
The job involves delivering kitchens, wardrobes, furniture and bespoke joinery items to sites and homes, as well as occasional collections from suppliers.
We are looking for someone practical, careful and dependable. You will be handling high quality finished work and also working inside clients’ homes, so care and respect are important. You will also be working closely with our fitting team and workshop team, so being a good team player is essential.
Our fitting teams start on site at 7.30am, so the job will involve early starts and varied hours. A typical day would involve arriving on site for 7.30am, whether that is locally, in Cork city or further afield. You would then unload the van, remove packaging and rubbish, and return to the workshop. Depending on the day, there may be further deliveries or collections before getting the next delivery ready by carefully wrapping and loading the goods for the following morning.
There will also be some workshop duties, such as cleaning up, organising goods in, and helping the team where needed.
Requirements:
Full clean driving licence, held for a minimum of 5 years
Safe Pass required for working on sites
Experience driving vans
Good timekeeping and reliability
Flexibility around start times and working hours
Careful and respectful when working in clients’ homes
Able to work well with the fitting team and workshop team
Manual handling experience would be an advantage
Pay: From €18.00 per hour
