Position: Stock Controller / Admin
Location: Westmeath/Longford Border Area
Salary: €34,000-€36,000- depending on experience
Hours: 09:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch) Monday–Friday
Full-time, 35 hours per week, permanent
Our client is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Stock Controller
This is a key role within the team, responsible for ensuring accurate stock management and supporting efficient operations within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels and reorder stock as required
- Complete accurate monthly stock takes
- Record and manage batch numbers, expiry dates, and traceability information for animal health products
- Maintain organised and compliant storage areas in line with internal procedures
- ·Administrative Support & Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with the existing team and provide cover for other roles when needed
- Participate in cross-training across the department
- Order processing
- ·Veterinary script processing
- Store operations: packing and dispatching customer orders
- Assist with general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the department
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literacy and willingness to learn internal systems
- Veterinary experience is not required, although experience in stock control, warehousing, or administration is beneficial.
