About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team in Dublin. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a qualified carpenter who takes pride in delivering high-quality residential refurbishment projects. You will lead by example on-site, supervise trades, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a team of carpenters on residential refurbishment projects.
- Manage the day-to-day running of sites from start to finish.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Monitor progress and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers when required.
- Maintain excellent workmanship and attention to detail throughout every project.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Carpenter with strong site experience.
- Previous experience as a Working Foreman, Foreman, or Site Supervisor.
- Experience in residential refurbishments, renovations, extensions, or attic conversions is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and building regulations.
- Full, clean Irish driving licence.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification preferred.
