Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Aunty Lena’s. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive hourly rate of €16 – €18, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and take pride in producing consistent, high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard during service
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily operations
- Ensure correct food storage and stock rotation
- Support the training of junior kitchen staff
- Collaborate with the team to uphold presentation and portion control
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar kitchen role
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Fluent English
- Must have previous experience working in Ireland
- References essential
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
