General Manager
Location: Kildare/Meath/Work from home (with travel across Ireland)
Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: €42,000 per annum + Bonus

Over the past few years, we’ve grown from a small business into a trusted accommodation provider with properties across Ireland and exciting plans for future expansion! As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced General Manager to help lead the business onto its next chapter.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to simply manage what’s already there. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building, improving and growing a business. Experience in sales is also a must for this position.
About the Role
This is a key leadership position working directly with the Managing Director.
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business, lead a small but ambitious team and play a major role in driving both operational excellence and business growth.
We’re looking for someone who is just as comfortable leading a team as they are meeting clients, identifying opportunities and helping win new business.
You’ll have the confidence to make decisions, solve problems and continually look for ways to improve how we operate and grow financially
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about doing a great job and takes pride in delivering excellent service to both our clients and our team.
Essentials
Previous experience in sales and business development
The majority of of properties are located in Dublin, Kildare, Meath, applicants should be based within reasonable driving distance from these areas
Full Driving Licence required.
Access to reliable vehicle and willingness to travel across Ireland as part of the role
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Leadership
· Lead, motivate and develop a growing team.
· Hold regular one-to-one meetings and team meetings.
· Create a positive, supportive and accountable working culture.
· Recruit, train and develop future team members.
Sales & Business Growth
· Support the continued growth of the business.
· Work alongside the sales team to identify and secure new business opportunities.
· Attend key client meetings when required.
· Build strong relationships with existing clients and accommodation partners.
· Help identify new opportunities for expansion across Ireland.
Operations
· Oversee the day-to-day running of the business.
· Ensure properties are maintained to a consistently high standard.
· Monitor occupancy, customer satisfaction and operational performance.
· Resolve escalated issues quickly and professionally.
· Continuously improve systems and processes.
Financial & Commercial Performance
· Monitor business performance and KPIs.
· Review occupancy, profitability and operational costs.
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and increase profitability.
· Support the Managing Director in achieving the company’s growth objectives.
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys responsibility and likes making things happen.
You’re commercially aware, naturally organised and enjoy leading people.
You’re equally comfortable building relationships with clients as you are improving internal processes.
You don’t wait to be told what needs doing, you spot opportunities, solve problems and take ownership.
You’ll also understand that in a growing business, no two days are the same, and you’ll enjoy the variety that comes with that.
Essential Experience
· Previous experience managing a team.
· Strong commercial awareness.
· Proven sales and business development experience.
· Experience building long-term client relationships.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Full clean driving licence.
· Willingness to travel across Ireland to meet new clients and explore sales opportunities
Experience within serviced accommodation, hospitality, construction, recruitment, facilities management or property would be advantageous but is not essential.
