Incredible opportunity for a High-Level Male Care Assistant.
I'm recruiting for an enthusiastic male care assistant to work with myself – a 41 year old male quadriplegic.
The role involves support in the North County Dublin area for 2.5 full days per week (with the potential for a full-time role if needed), providing assistance with most aspects of personal care.
Essential Skills for this role:
- Energetic and positive person
- Excellent command of the English language
- Legally allowed to work in Ireland and travel internationally.
- Own your own car (essential) and be able to drive service users car.
- Experience in the area of disability care is preferred but not essential.
The Role:
- Supporting myself with a spinal injury.
- Assistance with all physical aspects of life including; showering, dressing, driving, getting to bed and travelling.
- Excellent variety - attending conferences, events and business meetings.
Hours of work:
- 2.5 all-day shifts per week - 28 hours.
- 8am - 11pm shifts.
- Full training will be provided.
- Excellent pay rates.
- This is an Irish Wheelchair Association employee role.
