Centre of English Studies Dublin are hiring Activity Leaders for the summer to be based in both our TUD Grangegorman location & Mercy College Summer Centre.
Our summer Activity Leaders organise and accompany our teenage language students on social, cultural, and sporting activities. Activities during the week take place on the university campus and in Dublin, and weekend excursions are organised to places of interest in the greater Leinster area.
We are looking for sociable and responsible people seeking enjoyable summer employment.
This is a fixed-term full-time contract for the month of July (29 June - 31 July), with the possibility of part-time work in August.
Training will take place from June 22nd onwards & the training weekend will be on the 27th and 28th of June.
Main Responsibilities
Help plan, prepare, and deliver tours and activities with our international students.
Encourage student participation and a positive, enjoyable environment.
Ensure the safety of everyone in attendance.
Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Leaving Cert or equivalent
- Knowledge of the local area
- Proficient level of English
You will need to be Garda vetted for this position.
Previous experience is preferred but is not essential for this role. On the job training and guidance will be provided.
