Our client, a renewable energy company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team on a permanent contract.
The Role:
This is a field-based role, primarily focused on domestic projects, involving the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of heat pump systems and heating appliances.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of air-to-water and exhaust air heat pumps
- Servicing and maintenance of heat pumps and domestic heating systems
- Installation and upgrade of central heating systems and controls
- Installation and maintenance of oil boilers and heating appliances
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and first-time fix repairs
- Carrying out safety inspections and compliance checks
- Performing combustion analysis and electrical safety testing
- Installation and verification of CO alarms in line with regulations
- Working on retrofit projects within residential properties
- Completing all relevant documentation and compliance records
- Ensuring high standards of customer service and safety at all times
Requirements:
- Experience in Plumbing or Electrical
- Demonstrated experience in residential and commercial maintenance environments
- Full clean driving licence required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel from project to project
