Position: Duty Manager

Are you an experienced retail professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading a dynamic team? SuperValu Bundoran is looking for a motivated Duty Manager to join our team and help us maintain our commitment to excellence in grocery retail.
About the Role:
As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operations of SuperValu Bundoran. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting the team, ensuring the store runs smoothly, and providing outstanding service to our customers. This is a hands-on role requiring leadership, initiative, and a strong focus on meeting performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth running of the store during shifts, including opening and closing duties.
- Lead and motivate the store team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Assist in managing stock control, merchandising, and inventory levels.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company policies.
- Train and develop team members to maximize their potential.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the retail or grocery sector (Desirable).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of stock management and merchandising principles is a plus.
