Site Supervisor
Concrete Products and Aggregates - Tullamore, Co. Offaly
An exciting opportunity to join Ireland's leading independent manufacturer of concrete construction materials. We are currently looking for a supervisor to support our existing location Managers.
The successful candidate will have a positive and professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills and will be able to work independently. The nature of the work will require that the candidate demonstrates initiative and responsibility and be flexible/adaptive to a fast-paced and fluid business environment.
Reporting to the Location Manager you will assist in ensuring the location is operated to meet the highest standards of environmental, safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety in all areas of production from manufacturing to shipment.
Oversee efficient plant operations for crushing & washing production and scheduling.
Manage the schedule and performance of production maintenance.
Ensure the plant maintains proper stock inventories.
Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of crushing, screening, and washing plant operations, including fault finding, plant optimization, preventative maintenance coordination, and maximizing plant throughput and efficiency. (Preferred)
Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to supervise operators and contractors, manage production targets, maintain health and safety standards, and ensure effective day-to-day site operations. (Preferred)
Experience within production facilities & associated plant & equipment.
An understanding of QC/QA for the building materials/quarry products industry.
