About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Electrical General Operative to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will assist with the upkeep, fault-finding and repair of electrical and mechanical systems and general site duties while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified electricians with electrical installations and maintenance.
- Conducting routine checks on equipment such as circuit breakers and wiring to prevent failures.
- Responding to reactive repair calls.
- Managing equipment assembly, testing and general upkeep (which may also crossover into general plumbing & carpentry).
- Carry out general labouring and site support duties.
- Install cable containment systems and pull cables under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as required.
- Report any safety concerns or site issues to the supervisor.
- Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Essential Requirements
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Valid Safe Pass & Manual Handling Certificate.
- Previous electrical experience is an advantage.
Pay: €15.00-€19.00 per hour
