We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our growing construction team in the West of Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out using total station and GPS equipment.
- Liaise with design teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth information flow and project coordination.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and daily activity logs using site management systems (e.g. Procore or similar).
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in compliance with company and statutory requirements.
- Monitor site progress against programme schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure workmanship meets required standards.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure engineering designs are correctly implemented.
- Attend and contribute to site meetings and progress reviews.
- Support quality assurance processes and health & safety compliance on site.
- Assist in project close-out, including documentation, warranties, and as-built submissions.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff when required.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar Site Engineer role.
- Degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in CAD, MS Office, and construction management systems.
- Good understanding of Irish Health & Safety regulations.
- Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
